Irvine’s Louie No-Hits Corona del Mar

CORONA DEL MAR — Tommie Louie pitched a no-hitter as Irvine defeated Corona del Mar, 1-0, in a Sea View League baseball game Friday.
Louie, a junior right-hander, hit a batter in the first inning, walked one in the second but retired the final 16. He had three strikeouts for Irvine (13-6, 4-2 in league).
Aron Garcia scored the game’s only run when he was balked home in the first inning. Corona del Mar dropped to 0-6 in league.
