The NCAA baseball tournament’s 48-team field will be announced today with regional play beginning May 27 and 28 at eight sites.
Defending national champion Pepperdine and Cal State Long Beach have earned automatic berths. Cal State Fullerton and UCLA are expected to receive at large berths. Cal State Northridge and USC also might get at-large berths.
