ROUNDUP : Toro Soccer Teams Are Victorious

Cal State Dominguez Hills’ Gwen Nakashuma scored in the final minute to lift the Cal State Dominguez Hills women’s soccer team to a 3-2 victory over Cal Lutheran Saturday in Thousand Oaks. The Toros (3-1) also had goals by Teresa Bateman and Jenny Martin.
Dominguez Hills plays at Sonoma State on Tuesday.
Dominguez Hills 2, Cal Lutheran 1--Masahiro Fujiki scored two second-half goals to lead the Toro men’s team to a come-from-behind nonconference victory against the Kingsmen at Cal Lutheran.
Dominguez Hills (3-1) plays Southern California College at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Costa Mesa.
Lion women finish third--The Loyola Marymount women’s volleyball team finished third in the Lousiana State tournament on Saturday.
The Lions lost to Florida State, 15-12, 12-15, 15-2, 15-10, in a semifinal match and defeated 15th-ranked LSU, 18-16, 15-7, 15-11, to finish third.
Loyola, ranked 22nd, will compete in a tournament at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo on Friday and Saturday.
