Rare Raider Sellout Lifts TV Blackout
For the first time since the Coliseum was renovated before the start of the season, the Raiders have sold out a home game.
All 67,800 available seats for Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs were sold before the NFL’s 1 p.m. deadline Thursday, allowing the local television blackout to be lifted.
It is the Raiders’ first sellout since last season when they drew 92,488 for a game against the Dallas Cowboys, and their first sellout in time to lift the TV blackout since Sept. 29, 1991.
