D’Hallevant Heads Field for the Barrera Handicap

A field of six headed by D’Hallevant was entered Friday in Sunday’s $100,000-added Lazaro S. Barrera Handicap at Hollywood Park.
D’Hallevant will be ridden by Corey Nakatani and was assigned high weight of 118 pounds for the 13th running of the 1 1/16-mile race for 3-year-olds and older.
Others entered were Dinand, who will be ridden by Chris McCarron and was assigned 116 pounds; Art Of Living, Gary Stevens, 116; El Atroz, David Flores, 116; Royal Frolic, Corey Black, 115, and Goldigger’s Dream, Kent Desormeaux, 112.
If all six entries go to the post, the total purse will be $107,200 and the winner will get $62,200.
Star Recruit won the race last year in 1:41.
