Mattel Sets a Stock Split: The five-for-four split of the El Segundo-based toy maker coincides with completion of its merger with Fisher-Price. The company’s quarterly dividend of $.06 a share will be maintained, resulting in a 25% dividend increase. In the $1.2 billion merger, each Fisher-Price common share will be exchanged for 1.275 Mattel common shares.
