LAGUNA HILLS : Applicants Sought for 2 City Panels

The city is taking applications from residents interested in filling one of three vacancies on the Traffic Commission or one of two open positions on the Parks and Recreation Commission.
All terms are for two years.
The Traffic Commission consists of five registered voters and meets the third Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the City Council’s chambers. It reviews, makes recommendations and receives complaints regarding traffic conditions, parking and safety issues.
The Parks and Recreation Commission also consists of five registered voters. They meet the first Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the council chambers. Commission members review and recommend policies, services and plans of the Parks and Recreation Department.

Deadline for applications is 5 p.m. Jan. 14.
