A long-expected shake-up at Warner Bros. Records apparently won’t happen before the new year. Music industry sources say that Chairman Mo Ostin, who is in difficult contract renegotiations, has gone on vacation. Ostin, a legend in the record business for his pioneering management and close talent relationships, is said to be resisting pressure to report directly to Warner Music Group Chairman Robert Morgado. Sources, however, say Morgado is planning a reorganization that will affect at least two of the labels.
