Voters in Astoria recalled a prosecutor charged with trying to frame two police officers on drug charges. Dist. Atty. Julie Leonhardt is scheduled for trial Feb. 22 on charges of forgery, evidence tampering and official misconduct. She claims she’s the victim of a conspiracy for challenging what she called Clatsop County’s “old boys” network. Sixty-six percent of voters called for her ouster, according to unofficial returns.
