Clinton Relaxes After 1994’s Fast-Paced Start

WASHINGTON — After a wearying start to the new year, with little time to grieve over the death of his mother, President Clinton is taking a weekend break and retreating to the solitude of Camp David, Md., with his family.
“He’s looking forward to this weekend as a time to rest, spend time with his family, probably watch a few movies, read, work on his State of the Union speech, bowl a few lines, walk around outside if the weather warms up,” Press Secretary Dee Dee Myers said Friday.
