Is Ellis Worth More Than the Millionaires?
I was deeply moved by the article about Harold Ellis by Chris Baker (Jan. 25). If there are any parents in search of a role model for their child, I would hope they consider the following:
--Harold Ellis makes $150,000 per year or $1,829 per game. He gives 100% full-time effort and is ecstatic about being with the Clippers.
--Ron Harper makes $4 million this year or $48,780 per game, gives 100% part-time effort, blasts his employer and is miserably unhappy playing for the Clippers.
Surely I’m missing something here.
