President Named at Sony Unit: Benjamin S. Feingold has been promoted to the post at Columbia TriStar Home Video, a subsidiary of Sony Pictures Entertainment. He will direct TriStar Home Video’s global operations and work with Mel Harris, Sony’s television group president, to expand the home video and packaged media businesses. Previously, Feingold was Sony’s senior vice president for corporate development, where he was involved in new ventures throughout Sony’s filmed entertainment business, including the company’s successful ventures with Castle Rock Entertainment. Feingold replaces W. Patrick Campbell, who left the company last month to take a senior management position with Ameritech.
