Contractors’ Quake Seminar to Be Held

A two-night technical symposium on earthquake recovery for contractors will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Warner Center Marriott in Woodland Hills.
The symposium is designed to prepare contractors to better serve the needs of the public in the rebuilding after the Northridge earthquake.
The sessions are co-sponsored by the Greater Los Angeles/Ventura chapter of the Building Industry Assn., the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the state Office of Emergency Services.
A fee of $40 will offset the cost of materials.
