World IN BRIEF : GHANA : 500 Die as Ethnic Fighting Spreads
- Share via
More than 500 people have been killed in ethnic fighting that has spread across northern Ghana, military sources said. Thousands have been made homeless in the violence, which erupted Feb. 3, the sources added. The other tribes’ refusal to give in to their demands has been the main reason for conflict.
