COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Chapman Adds to Concordia’s Losing Streak

Chapman and Concordia are two teams going in opposite directions and the Panthers won for the sixth time in seven games by defeating Concordia, 77-66, Tuesday night at Chapman.
The Panthers (15-7) led most of the way to hand the Eagles (15-12) their fourth straight loss.
Despite Concordia’s size advantage, the Panthers out-rebounded the Eagles, 36-31, with Umahl Anderson and Stefan Mumaw leading the way with nine apiece.
Concordia trailed 69-66 on Craig Martin’s basket with 3 minutes 1 second remaining. The Panthers scored eight consecutive points as Anderson, Aaron Cornell and Brian Wood each hit a pair of free throws and Toby Curto hit a basket.”
Wood and Mumaw led Chapman scoring with 14 and 12 points. Martin led the Eagles with 12 points.
