Outlook: The Aztecs have built a dynasty in the Empire League and are looking forward to winning their eighth consecutive title. A junior-dominated team, Britt said, “This could be a strong team as the season progresses.” The Aztecs are led by Hector, who ran 38.0 seconds in the intermediate hurdles at the Masters Meet. The Aztecs’ 400-relay team returns intact after running a county-best 42.51 last spring. But Tape is suffering from a hamstring and isn’t expected back until the middle of March.
