Nona Morelli’s II Casino Deal: Cleopatra Palace Ltd. of Ireland said it has received permission to run a casino in the North African country of Tunisia with Irvine-based Nona Morelli’s II.
Nona Morelli’s put up $6 million in working capital in exchange for 70% of Cleopatra. The casino is set to open in 1995; construction of a hotel and 250 condominiums has already begun.
Nona Morelli’s II invests in casinos and makes pasta and sauces.
