James Harman, the blues bandleader based in Huntington Beach, has been nominated for a W.C. Handy Award in the Blues Instrumentalist-Harmonica category. The annual Handy awards are the blues world’s equivalent of the Grammys. The winners will be named during ceremonies May 5 in Memphis.
