The Bible is now available in a pocket-size ROM version from Franklin Electronic Publishers of Mount Holly, N.J.
The King James and New International versions have been put on a tiny ROM (read-only memory) cartridge in a Digital Book System reader. The text is displayed on a five-line screen.
The cartridges, containing the entire Old and New Testaments, are the size of a box of matches. The Book System, powered by four lithium batteries, can fit into a shirt pocket and weighs less than five ounces.
