THOUSAND OAKS : 5% Hike Expected on School Bus Fares

Thousand Oaks school officials are scheduled to vote Thursday on a plan to raise school bus fares by 5%.
The plan would increase the cost per semester for round-trip transportation from $180 to $190. A one-way pass for a semester would increase from $95 to $100.
Members of the Conejo Valley Unified school board are expected to approve the fare hike when they meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the district offices at 1400 E. Janss Road.
