Metrolink Offering Free Train Tickets

Hoping to entice commuters to leave their cars behind and take the train, Metrolink is offering free passes from its four Ventura County stations.
Under the promotion, residents can call the Ventura County Transportation Commission to receive a pass good for four one-way trips on Metrolink.
The passes are good until July 15 and can be used from Simi Valley, Moorpark, Oxnard and Camarillo to Los Angeles and back.
Regular fares range from $10 to $16 for a single round-trip ticket and $144 to $240 for a monthly passes.
