Treat Veterans as if They’re No. 1
* The plan to turn the Sepulveda Veterans Administration Medical Center into a state-of-the-art ambulatory care center constitutes discrimination against veterans.
If one veteran is less ill than another, that veteran is welcome under this plan. The other veteran will also be examined, but an ambulance may have to be sent to the center to take him or her to another hospital. How long will this take? Time means life or death; extra miles mean life or death. This plan is not worth even one life.
America is No. 1 thanks to our veterans. They should be treated accordingly.
