Kenetech Completes Financing for Two Energy Projects: The company said Nations Financial Capital Corp. of Stamford, Conn., has acquired a 25% stake in two Kenetech Windpower projects in California and Minnesota. San Francisco-based Kenetech Corp., which provides electric-power products and services, in January announced an $82-million limited partnership to finance two wind-energy plants that sell electricity to Southern California Edison Co. and Northern States Power Co. of Minnesota. LG&E; Energy Corp. of Louisville, Ky., and Allstate Project Finance of Northbrook, Ill., hold a 75% stake in the limited partnership.
