IRVINE : Post Open on Rights Board for Disabled

Applications are being accepted for an open position on the Irvine Residents With Disabilities Advisory Board.
The purpose of the 12-member board is to protect the rights of disabled people to take part in community life. Issues addressed by the board include access, affordable housing, child and respite care, recreational opportunities and transportation.
Board members serve two-year terms and must be Irvine residents. The application deadline is 5 p.m. Sept. 9. For more information, call (714) 724-6732.
