Market trends: Microsoft Corp. was the volume leader in Monday’s trading. Live Entertainment Inc. announced a second-quarter loss of $1.4 million on sales of $29.2 million, compared to a year-earlier loss of $1.5 million on sales of $44.3 million. The firm said the decrease was due to fewer video releases in the second quarter of 1994.
