ROLLER HOCKEY : Bullfrogs Defeat Blades in Opener

Yuri Krivokhija and Victor Gervais each scored two goals and the Anaheim Bullfrogs scored four in the fourth quarter on the way to a 9-6 victory over the Los Angeles Blades in a Roller Hockey International playoff game at The Pond of Anaheim on Tuesday before 8,310.
The teams play Game 2 of the Pacific Division finals tonight at 7:30 at the Forum. If the Bullfrogs win, they advance to the Western Conference finals.
If the Blades win, the teams will play a 12-minute mini-game immediately following the game to determine the series winner.
Steve Wilson had two goals and two assists for the Blades, and Nick Vachon scored with 13.6 seconds remaining in the third quarter to tie the score, 5-5.
But Anaheim scored three unanswered goals in the first seven minutes of the fourth quarter to take control.
Blade goalie Max Mikhailovsky had 30 saves after being named the league’s most valuable player and goaltender of the year Tuesday.
Blade Coach Bobby Hull Jr. was named Western Conference coach of the year.
