Weekend TV : ‘Reboot,’ ‘Bump’ Kick Off Fall Children’s Season

A new season of children’s shows begins with two new ABC programs today. “Reboot” features computer graphics, at 8:30 a.m., and “Bump in the Night” combines clay animation and puppetry with live-action views of humans from the waist down, at 9 a.m. on Channels 7, 3, 10 and 42.
On Sunday at 8:30 a.m., Lily Tomlin lends her voice to “The Magic School Bus,” an animated series that encourages kids to take an interest in science, on KCET-TV Channel 28.
CBS’ venerable “60 Minutes” begins a new season Sunday at 7 p.m. with reports on former Reagan Administration official Robert McFarlane and a test-cheating scandal at the U.S. Naval Academy.
