San Fernando 36, Chatsworth 14--Larry Ford rushed for 105 yards in 10 carries and scored twice to lead the Tigers (2-2, 1-0) at Chatsworth.
Ford’s one-yard run in the second quarter capped a 17-play, 97-yard drive and gave San Fernando a 14-0 lead.
Quarterback Keijuan Douglas completed six of 14 passes for 105 yards, including a 21-yard pass to Larry Logan for the Tigers’ first score of the game.
Lavell Thompson, who carried 14 times for 65 yards, scored on an 11-yard run in the third quarter to give San Fernando a 21-0 lead.
For Chatsworth (2-2, 0-1), running back Antwon Nelson gained 86 yards in 17 carries and scored two touchdowns. Quarterback Aaron Hummel completed 11 of 18 passes for 122 yards with one interception.
