3 Outside Directors Leave Iwerks: The Burbank-based maker of high-tech specialty theaters said the three directors, including former Los Angeles Olympics chief Peter Ueberroth, resigned “in order to devote more time to their other business interests.” Mark Siegel and Douglas Broyles also resigned from the board. Iwerks, which designs theaters that incorporate motion simulators and wraparound screens, has struggled recently amid heavy research and development costs and growing competition.
