S. Linn Williams will join Mission Energy...

S. Linn Williams will join Mission Energy Co. in early November as senior vice president and general counsel. The Irvine-based SCEcorp subsidiary specializes in the development, acquisition, construction, management and operation of independent power production facilities. Williams, 48, is currently a partner in the Washington office of the Jones Day Reavis & Pogue law firm. Williams, a former ambassador, was deputy U.S. trade representative from 1989 to 1991. He has also been vice president and general counsel of the Overseas Private Investment Corp., a government agency, and vice president and general counsel of Sears World Trade.
