PALMDALE — A 32-year-old Palmdale man was arrested on suspicion of felony drunk driving Sunday after his pickup truck flipped over, ejecting two children from the truck’s bed, authorities said.
Christopher Beliousky was speeding on Avenue P, west of 30th Street West about 4:40 a.m. when he lost control of his Chevy S-10 pickup truck, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
Beliousky, after driving off the side of the road, tried to steer the truck back onto the freeway, causing it to flip over, authorities said.
Two children, ages 7 and 9, were ejected from the bed of the truck, authorities said. Beliousky’s wife and a 2-year-old child were riding with him in the cab of the truck, authorities said.
All five people were taken to the Antelope Valley Hospital Medical Center, where they were treated for minor injuries and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.
