Police in Inverness, Fla., have upgraded the charges against a nurse accused of raping five patients while they were sedated. The charges against Bruce Alan Young were upgraded to rape of an incapacitated person using an intoxicating substance. The harsher charges each carry a penalty of 30 years in prison. The previous charges of rape carried a 15-year penalty. Young, 45, was arrested Oct. 3 after a nurse allegedly caught him having sex with a 15-year-old girl in the recovery room of Citrus Memorial Hospital.
