COSTA MESA : Forum for Council Candidates Planned

Candidates running for City Council in November’s election will get a chance to express their views at a 7 p.m. forum Wednesday at the Neighborhood Community Center in Costa Mesa.
The center is at 1845 Park Ave., one block south of 19th Street and one block west of Newport Boulevard.
Attendance is free. The Costa Mesa Republican Assembly is sponsoring the forum.
A total of 12 candidates are running for two open seats on the council. Peter F. Buffa, an incumbent, is seeking a third term, and Jay Humphrey is stepping down after four years of service.
