Viacom Expects $2 Billion From Cable Sale: Chairman Sumner Redstone said proceeds from the sale of the cable television systems, which have 1.1 million subscribers, will be used to pay down debt. Viacom Inc.’s recently acquired the publishing and entertainment concern Paramount Communications Inc. and video rental leader Blockbuster Entertainment Corp.
