COMMUNITY COLLEGE ROUNDUP : OCC Wins Its Eighth in a Row in Water Polo

Orange Coast (14-5-1, 4-0) earned its eighth consecutive water polo victory Thursday, defeating Palomar, 19-5, in an Orange Empire Conference game at Orange Coast.
Palomar (3-16, 0-3) trailed by one with 3 minutes 15 seconds left in the first, but Orange Coast scored eight consecutive goals to take an 11-2 lead with 4:56 left in the half.
In other Orange Empire Conference water polo:
Grossmont 20, Saddleback 7--John Giulianotti scored 10 goals to lead host Grossmont (22-4, 4-0). Blake Corbin led Saddleback (9-12, 2-2) with two goals.
Rancho Santiago 13, San Diego Mesa 12--Chad Gniffke scored five goals, including the game-winner with 15 seconds left to play to lead Rancho Santiago (12-7, 2-2).
