BREA : Human Rights Day to Be Recognized Dec. 10

Human Rights Day will be celebrated Dec. 10 at the Brea United Methodist Church to recognize the 46th anniversary of the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations.
Amnesty International of Orange County, the American Assn. of University Women of La Habra and Brea, and the United Nations of Orange County are sponsoring the event to promote awareness of the inherent dignity, rights and freedoms of people everywhere, organizers said.
The event begins at 9 a.m. and will feature a performance by the International Children’s Choir from 10:15 to 11 a.m. The church is at 480 State College Blvd.
