Earl Scheib Inc. Names New CEO: Daniel Seigel was named president and chief executive of the Beverly Hills-based auto painting company. He was also nominated to serve on the company’s board. Directors also appointed Donald R. Scheib, former president and chief executive, as chairman, a non-officer position that has been vacant since the death of the former chairman. Most recently, Seigel was president and chief executive of Thrifty Corp., which is the parent company of Thrifty Drug Stores, Bi-Mart Corp., MC Sporting Goods and Gart Bros. Sporting Goods Co.
