OUTLOOK
Knight said Dedeaux is a sleeper who could become a very good player in college. Burrell is a solid medium-range player who could blossom into one of the area’s top players by next season. The new coach is still teaching his system, so the team might start slowly.

OUTLOOK
With George and Jefferson, the Lobos could be moving up. George averaged 18.4 points and 8.3 rebounds and is Littlerock’s best player. Jefferson, the point guard, averaged six points and three assists. Pitts, quick and an excellent shooter, also will play a big role.

OUTLOOK
The two-time defending league champions advanced to the Division I-A semifinals last season, but lost nearly everyone to graduation. The exception is Hamelin, who was all-league. Martin was an excellent three-point shooter as a reserve. A trio of transfers will help fill the gaps. Bell is from Simi Valley, Phillips from Littlerock and Carpenter from Inglewood.

Nichter takes over for the retired Steve Hurst. Brown is the team’s best player, unspectacular but solid. Woodworth, the quarterback on the football team, is strong under the boards. Pettis is a transfer from Texas.
