DuPont Pharma: The North American arm of the DuPont Merck Pharmaceutical Co. said Tuesday it has chosen Irvine as the site of its Western headquarters.
DuPont’s seven-member sales and marketing staff opened its new offices at Palm Court in the Irvine Spectrum in late November.
The move to Irvine was prompted when DuPont decided to open regional headquarters across the United States. Previously, DuPont had only a district sales office in Orange County. The company maintains its worldwide headquarters in Wilmington, Del.
