Regarding “Unvarnished Colorado” (Dec. 4): Not everyone in Breckenridge parties all night. There are seasonal events and activities for all ages and the restaurants have got to be among the best around--and they have atmosphere, not arrogance. The people are so friendly that no matter where you are, they’ll go out of their way to make sure your visit is a great one.
Might I also add that although most other ski areas are right off the interstate (where you tend to breathe in the exhaust from all the cars), you have to drive in to Breckenridge, which is so picturesque.
Traveling as much as we do, we have not yet found a place that has the charm and quality of life of Breckenridge.
