Among the most active art-related areas on the Internet, the classical music mailing list and Usenet discussion group are the cyberhome for classical music aficionados from around the world.

Conversations range from the heady to the trivial and span every era up to the present. It’s open to people interested in learning more about classical music or to those who wish to share their knowledge with classical neophytes.

If you are culturally timid, consider stopping by the Usenet group first to observe the classical chitchat before subscribing to the mailing list.
