WEST ADAMS : Quartet to Perform Classical Works

The Cherbuini String Quartet will perform works by Schubert, Schnittke and Beethoven today at the William Andrews Clark Memorial Library.
The quartet, formed in 1979 and composed of young artists, has toured in the United States and in London, Vienna, Lisbon, Amsterdam and Tokyo. Today’s performance inaugurates an afternoon chamber-music concert series sponsored by the UCLA Center for the 17th and 18th Century Studies.
The library is at 2520 Cimarron St. Admission is $10.
