Sen. Kerrey to Stop Taking Communion at Mass

OMAHA — After more than a year of taking communion at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, U.S. Sen. Bob Kerrey (D-Neb.) says he will stop--because it’s against the rules. Kerrey, a Protestant, says he didn’t know that the Roman Catholic Church prohibits non-Catholics from taking communion.
