USC: 2 Honored With Emeriti Awards

Two Westside residents have been awarded USC’s Distinguished Emeriti Awards for their career contributions.
Louis M. Brown of Beverly Hills and Daniel Glaser of Park La Brea, both retired, were honored at a dinner ceremony last week for their work.
Brown, emeritus professor of law at the USC law center, has been recognized for his advocacy of legal access and establishment of effective conflict resolution channels. He is the founder and chair of the National Center for Preventive Law.
Glaser, emeritus professor of sociology, was honored for work in criminology spanning 40 years. Author of eight books and numerous other publications, Glaser has also been honored by the American Society of Criminology for his research and analysis.
