The Las Virgenes Unified School District will hold numerous meetings to receive input from parents, teachers, administrators and other district employees about the selection of a replacement for Supt. Albert (Bud) Marley, who is retiring at the end of this school year.
Robert E. Ferris, a consultant hired to conduct the search, will be on hand Monday through Thursday to meet with the various groups. The second of two community meetings is scheduled for Wednesday in the library at Calabasas High School at 7:30 p.m.
Meetings have been set for specific groups through Thursday at various locations throughout the district. Call the district office at (818) 880-4000 for more information.
Anyone who cannot make it to any of these meetings can make an appointment to meet with Ferris by calling Betty Brown at the district office, at (818) 880-4000, Ext. 225.
The district will also accept written input, which should be addressed to Board of Education President Barbara Bowman-Fagelson, Las Virgenes School District, 4111 N. Las Virgenes Road, Calabasas 91302.
