War Hero, 102, Weds Woman Half His Age

LONDON — A 102-year-old British war hero has married a woman half his age after she was won over by his tales of daring adventure in World War I.
Veteran George Brumwell Jameson, awarded the Military Cross for bravery, met his sweetheart, Julie Robinson, 53, after the former teacher heard him tell his war stories on television.
“We are very much in love with each other in spite of the age difference. I don’t give a damn what people think. Age to me does not matter,” Brumwell, a widower for 15 years, told reporters.
