WASHINGTON — The post office will accept four credit cards when it expands its card acceptance program nationwide.
Postal officials said Thursday they will honor American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa as the program expands this spring.
Seattle, Denver and San Diego will be the first permanent sites to accept the cards, starting this spring. Credit card terminals will be operating in 33,000 locations within two years, the agency said.
