INGLEWOOD : $25,000 Offered for Killer of Store’s Night Manager

A $25,000 reward has been offered for information leading to the killer of the night manager of an Inglewood check-cashing business who was gunned down Saturday night during a robbery attempt.
Douglas Brown, 52, died at the scene of the 8:20 p.m. shooting April 8 at Nix Check Cashing, in the 2700 block of West Manchester Boulevard, where someone had smashed open a glass door on the side of the building.
Officers answering a silent alarm found the victim.
Thomas Nix, president of the business, offered the reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the killer. Anyone knowing more about the crime is urged to call police.
