Woman Found Stabbed to Death in Her Home

A woman was found stabbed to death Wednesday in her home in an unincorporated area near Harbor City, a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokesman said.
Ernestine Campbell, 51, was found about 11:35 a.m. by her husband, Billy Campbell, 52, when he returned to the residence in the 900 block of West 224th Street, said sheriff’s spokesman Rich Erickson.
The victim was pronounced dead at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, Erickson said.
