Marrow Leads UCLA Women in Gymnastics

The UCLA women’s gymnastics team is seeded fourth in the NCAA championships, which begin today at Athens, Ga.
Georgia is seeded first, followed by Alabama and defending champion Utah.
Today’s schedule includes all-around and preliminary team competition at the Georgia Coliseum. Team finals will be held Friday, individual event finals Saturday.
UCLA won the NCAA West Regional championship April 8 at Corvallis, Ore., to qualify.
Senior Kareema Marrow scored a 39.6 in the all-around, breaking the UCLA record by .13 en route to winning her second West Regional all-around title.
